Q: Can this cabinet be recessed in to a wall?
A: None of our cabinets have been designed specifically to be recessed in to a wall. However, if you wire the cabinet to your main bathroom lighting circuit, so that the cabinet lights turn on/off with your main bathroom light, then it will be possible to partially recess the cabinet. If partially recessing your cabinet, it will not be possible to use the sensor switch to activate the lights.
Q: Do I need to leave a clearance between the sensor switch and another surface?
A: Yes - we do recommend leaving a space of at least 15cm between the sensor switch and any adjacent wall/object as any obstructions can prevent the sensor switch from working to its full ability.
Q: Where is the shaver socket located in the Amber cabinet?
A: The shaver socket is located on the inside of the cabinet. Please refer to the technical drawing which will show the exact location.
Q: Can I charge an electric toothbrush in the Amber cabinet shaver socket?
A: Yes, electric toothbrushes can be charged using the shaver socket.
Q: Does my Demister Pad only work when I active the lights?
A: No, the Demister Pad on the Amber cabinet works independently of all the other features on your cabinet. It is activated by a rocker switch usually located on the right hand side of your cabinet. Please check the technical drawing for the exact location.
