Brass Bathroom Mirrors

Brass has become one of the most sought-after finishes in bathroom design, and it's ... easy to understand why. The warm, muted gold tone sits comfortably alongside natural materials, earthy palettes and warm-toned tiles, adding richness without demanding attention. Our brass bathroom mirrors feature both illuminated LED and non-illuminated designs in round, rectangular, and pill shapes.

What bathroom styles suit a brass mirror?

It's the obvious choice in bathrooms that lean into natural materials, think limestone tiles, wooden vanity units, rattan accessories and warm plaster tones. In these spaces, brass mirrors feel like a natural extension of the palette rather than an addition. It also works well in more contemporary bathrooms, particularly where the design mixes warm and cool elements, because the softness of brushed brass prevents it from feeling heavy or old-fashioned. Paired with dark grout, matte surfaces or sage green tiles, a brass mirror reads as deliberate and considered.

What are brushed brass mirrors, and how do they differ from polished brass?

Brushed brass has a matte, textured surface created by buffing the metal in one direction, which gives it a softer, more understated appearance. Polished brass is buffed to a high shine, which gives a more reflective, traditional look. All the brass mirrors in our range use a brushed finish, which is the more popular choice in contemporary bathroom design as it sits more naturally alongside modern materials and doesn't show fingerprints as readily as a polished surface.

What types of brass mirrors are available?

Our brass mirrors are available as illuminated or non-illuminated designs, both with their own benefits. Brass illuminated mirrors have built-in LED lighting and need to be connected to mains power by a qualified electrician. All of these are IP44 rated, dimmable, colour-adjustable and touch-controlled, with demister pads included on every model. Brass non-illuminated mirrors have no electrical components and mount directly to the wall with no wiring required. You can choose between slim and deep-set brass frames, a bevelled design and a tilting model.

Is there a brushed brass bathroom mirror cabinet option?

Yes! If you'd like the warmth of brass combined with storage, our illuminated bathroom cabinets include models available in brushed brass finishes. A mirrored cabinet gives you the mirror surface and LED lighting of an illuminated mirror alongside shelved internal storage for toiletries and essentials, all in a single wall-mounted unit.

What shapes are available in brass framed mirrors?

Choose from rectangular, round or pill-shaped brass mirrors. Brass rectangular bathroom mirrors are the most versatile shape and come in slim frames, illuminated models and rectangles with a slight curved edge. Brass round bathroom mirrors bring softness to a wall, working especially well in bathrooms where the rest of the fittings are quite angular. Brass oval and pill-shaped mirrors are tall and narrow with rounded ends, giving more vertical mirror height without taking up much horizontal wall space.

What brass bathroom mirror sizes are available?

Our brass mirrors run from 400mm x 600mm at the compact end up to 1000mm round for larger spaces, with a solid range of sizes in between.

      • 400mm x 600mm suits cloakrooms and compact en-suites where wall space above the basin is limited.

      • 500mm x 700mm is the most popular size in the range. It works above a standard single basin in most bathroom sizes.

      • 500mm x 800mm and 500mm x 900mm give extra height at a similar width. A good option if you want more mirror surface on a narrower wall.

      • 600mm x 800mm suits a larger family bathroom or a wider basin unit.

      • 1000mm x 600mm and 1200mm x 600mm are wide-format options for larger walls and double-basin bathrooms.

Will brass mirrors tarnish or discolour over time?

Our brass mirrors use a coated finish that resists tarnishing in normal bathroom conditions. The frame won't require polishing or specialist cleaning. A wipe down with a damp cloth is sufficient for regular maintenance. For the mirror glass itself, our guide on how to clean your bathroom mirror covers the best approach for a streak-free finish.
